African Kiss Kass

Generally played in pairs, these uplifting, vibrant coloured hand-made wicker shakers are a fun addition to any percussion tool kit. The African Kiss Kass (also traditionally known as Caxixi – Ca-she-she) produce a range of sounds depending on how they’re played.

Kiss Kass are hand woven from elephant reed harvested from rich flood plains in northern Ghana, filled with stones/seeds and enclosed with a gourd base.
