Unified On2 Social is one of Southern California’s most anticipated monthly mambo socials. Held on the last Saturday of every month at Avant Garde Ballroom in Santa Ana, the night begins with two hours of progressive salsa and bachata On2 workshops led by rotating guest instructors from around the world.
After a short performance intermission, three separate rooms open up: a dedicated salsa/mambo room, a sensual bachata room, and a Latin-fusion lounge.
Social dancing officially kicks off at 10:00 PM and regularly runs until 3:00 AM, so come ready for a marathon of great music. Resident and guest DJs such as DJ Mayimbe and DJ Marco Pedraza keep the floor packed with classic New York–style salsa, mambo, and modern bachata hits.
The event celebrates the inclusive, community-forward spirit of Unified On2 Project, uniting dancers, musicians, and promoters from across the West Coast.
Full-night passes are typically $40, while social-only entry is $20 and individual workshops are $10 each. The venue offers ample free parking and an on-site bar serving non-alcoholic refreshments.
Dancers of all levels are welcome, but the floor tends to skew intermediate and up, so bring your best timing shoes and enjoy an unforgettable night of On2 dancing.
