Every Monday evening, Motion Arts Center in downtown San Mateo offers back-to-back Salsa ON1 classes for pre-intermediate and intermediate dancers. Led by Chris & Jesica, this progressive two-class format begins with a 7:00 PM session focusing on timing, partner connection, and foundational patterns, followed by an 8:00 PM intermediate class that introduces more intricate combinations and styling. Practice Time at 9:00 PM gives students a chance to apply what they’ve learned in a relaxed social setting.
Held in a beautiful, hardwood-floored studio with full-length mirrors and professional sound, these classes are ideal for dancers looking to grow their skills in a supportive and social environment. Drop-in rates start at $30, with class packages and monthly passes available. Pre-registration is required through the studio’s online portal.
