About this event
Tardes de Danzón is a welcoming and free dance initiative organized by the Instituto de la Cultura y las Artes in partnership with the XV Ayuntamiento de Los Cabos. The program invites the entire community—individuals and families alike—to enjoy learning danzón and other Latin rhythms.
Led by professional instructors with live DJ accompaniment, the sessions are structured to encourage creativity, movement, and cultural connection.
In San José del Cabo, classes take place every Sunday from November 24 to December 18, 2024, between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the Plaza Antonio Mijares. In Cabo San Lucas, participants can join on Wednesday evenings during the same period, held at Plaza León Cota Collins from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. With its inclusive format, lively musical experience, and picturesque public venues, Tardes de Danzón brings joyous cultural energy to the heart of Los Cabos.
