Classic Salsa Sundays returns to 809 Lounge on November 9 with live music, dancing, and a vibe that feels like home. After a packed launch, this monthly event is quickly becoming a staple in Tampa’s salsa scene.
Every second Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Classic Salsa Sundays brings back the music your abuela danced to—real salsa, rich with sabor and cultura. The next edition features live music from Ambito Latin Band, plus DJ Washington Party spinning timeless salsa tracks.
The day kicks off with a free salsa lesson at 3:00 PM, followed by open dancing and authentic Latin food available for purchase. No cover charge makes this one of Tampa’s most accessible and community-focused salsa events.
Held at 809 Lounge, a popular Latin nightlife spot on West Waters Avenue, the event welcomes dancers of all levels looking for connection, culture, and music that moves the soul.
