Wednesday Night Salsa hosted by Baila UP in Marquette offers free weekly salsa lessons and social dancing every Wednesday evening. Held at Lower Harbor Park (with a rain location at Dance Zone, 1113 Lincoln Ave), these sessions begin at 6:30 PM and feature rotating partners in an inclusive, beginner–friendly format. Attendees enjoy a relaxed outdoor atmosphere (weather permitting) and are invited to donate if they wish.

The event is part of a broader weekly dance series where the first Wednesday of the month is dedicated to salsa, followed by swing, ballroom, and mixed styles in later weeks. No partner or pre?registration required. Classes are taught by local instructors with a focus on rhythm, connection, and community. After the lesson, social dancing continues—making it a great way to practice, meet other dancers, and enjoy Latin rhythms. Baila UP encourages dancers of all experience levels to join, and all donations go toward supporting future community dance programming.
